Anthony McCarley, Chief Executive Officer / CEO

As a successful entrepreneur, Anthony has over 25 years of executive management experience in both large corporate and small entrepreneurial settings. He has a diverse background with accomplished skills in operations, management, sales and marketing, programming, customer relations, and research and development. Today, Anthony is CEO and Founder of McCarley International, a company focused on assisting executives, organizations and athletes to reach their full potential.  Prior to founding McCarley International Anthony was the CEO of InteHealth, a company he lead from a small entrepreneurial organization to its eventual sale to a Global 100 firm based in Tokyo. Anthony was also a Senior Vice President at McKesson Corporation where he held numerous positions in both their provider and payer focused business units culminating in running McKesson’s payer service business. 

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Anthony resides in the Philadelphia area and is an ultra-marathon swimmer. Anthony has completed swims of the English Channel, the Manhattan Island circumnavigation, the Catalina Channel, the Santa Barbara Channel (Anacapa), the Cook Strait (New Zealand), the Strait of Gibraltar, and others.



Stephen Smith, Sr. Vice President & Chief Business Officer

Steve has over 30 years of senior management experience with organizations of various sizes – form small start-ups to large publically-traded businesses. At McCarley International, Steve is primarily responsible for business operations. His varied background includes expertise in sales and marketing, finance, management, and IT. 

Steve has worked with Anthony for many years including several years together at InteHealth. He has worked as Executive Vice President, World-Wide Sales & Marketing for Healtheon/WebMD; sales Vice Presidnet for HBOC/McKesson; and Partner-in-Charge, Ernst & Young.

Steve graduated summa cum laude from California State University and is a CPA. He hopes to continue climbing mountains, competing in marathon cycling events, and running triathlons. He resides in San Francisco.

Albert Bergonzi, Senior Vice President

Al is a successful business executive with a wide-variety of skills and expertise. With over 30 years in healthcare related organizations, he has developed strong management skills in both small company entrepreneurial environments as well as larger corporate structures.  He has a unique ability to develop a vision and execute that vision throughout an organization and has successfully worked in and managed all aspects of running a business. At McCarley International, Al is responsible for developing the Coaching Division – working with clients and the coaching staff.

Prior to McCarley International, Al was Corporate Executive Vice President, President and CEO, Information Technology Division of McKesson, a Fortune 50 company. He developed his \sales acumen as the Vice President of Sales for Amherst Associates and HBOC.

Al holds multiple degrees including a BA from UMass, AD form Holyoke, BS from UMass, and an MBA from UMass. He graduated summa cum laude from U of Mass. He resides outside Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Julie Morgan

Dr. Julie Morgan is a communication training and education specialist with over 25 years of experience. As a tenured professor in Communication Studies at Eastern University, she has worked with the MBA program, she has served as department chair and developed over 30 unique courses for the campus and the marketplace. She is a certified Forte communication styles consultant. She has worked with numerous individuals and organizations to help them optimize their communication strategies and skills.

At McCarley International, she is responsible for strategic communication initiatives and coaching business leaders on communication.

Julie graduated from Radford University with a Master’s in Corporate and Professional, and earned her Ed.D. in Adult Education from Nova Southeastern University.

She plans to continue running, and enjoys pumping iron.



Michelle Martinez

Michelle Martinez is CEO and Founder of Make Your Mark Digital where she is responsible for company vision, strategy, and growth. As an 18-year veteran in both the corporate and agency marketing spheres, Michelle possesses deep industry knowledge in the marketing, online advertising, and strategic Internet growth disciplines. She has expert knowledge in corporate growth strategies and articulating Internet growth and marketing strategy to a wide range of constituencies.

At McCarley International, she is responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives and the growth of McCarley International’s online presence.

Prior to founding Make Your Mark, Michelle was Chief Marketing Officer at Lemonpeak, a global digital marketing firm where she determined communications direction during turnaround and acquisition phases. Michelle was also a Partner at CPC Medical, a healthcare technology company.

Michelle graduated from New York University and began this diverse career performing e-commerce and digital marketing work at Redcoon, an international retail company in Barcelona, Spain.

George Krusen

George is Chief Financial Officer of the Commercial Finance Americas team for Siemens Financial Services. In this role, he oversees the $1B+ portfolio for Siemens. George began his tenure with Siemens in 2004 as a Director of Finance for Siemens Healthcare. In this capacity, he led a diverse set of functional areas including; developing leasing customer contracts, managing the equipment shipping process, assessment of customer contract compliance and supervision of the end of leasing process.

Prior to joining Siemens, George worked at finance and high-tech manufacturing companies serving in senior accounting roles, including CFO. A highly accomplished senior accounting and financial management executive – George possesses over 25 years of progressive experience in financial and operations management.

George is a Certified Public Accountant. He has a B.A. in Accounting from Grove City College and a Master of Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
